Who we are
The founders of BigBlueStuff share a passion for three things:
- Facilitating change through powerful coaching.
- Doing the work we love and loving the work we do and using different environments, when appropriate, as a tool to create a space in which positive change can emerge.
- We also believe in respecting the environments, in which we work and play.

My passion is for the positive connotation of, 'What's next?', exploring possible futures and enabling individuals, teams and organisations to access their full potential.
‘People centred, business focussed, results orientated coaching and facilitation’, underpins my personal philosophy towards coaching. I have an MSc is in Coaching and Development and I am a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (FRSA)
Prior to coaching I spent fifteen years in sales and publishing, culminating as Publisher and General Manager at Tennis GB, a subsidiary of the LTA.
My undertaking is to be present in life’s unfolding and I pursue this through martial arts learning to ride waves, writing and enjoying the question, 'What's next?'.

My career began with a qualification in Mechanical Engineer and having spent ten years project managing the delivery of multi–million pound transport infrastructure projects across the UK in both the private and public sectors, I felt it was time for what's next.
People and process have always been an integral part of my work and it intrigued me as to how many projects, businesses and organisations did not succeed through a simple lack of alignment of people, process and objectives.
This led me to study for a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching and Development and more recently and Advanced Diploma in performance coaching and becoming certified to deliver LSP (Lego® Serious Play™).
I am a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts (FRSA), Chairman of Bantham Surf Life Saving Club, a passionate supporter of the RNLI being a volunteer beach lifeguard and inshore rescue boat cox and crew, school governor, father of two delightful daughters and given enough time a loving husband.
Constantly seeking to challenge my physical and mental resolve I am a keen sportsman with honours in many fields. I count amongst my most inspiring achievements, running the "Three Peaks Challenge" in 21 hours and back to back marathons across the South Downs Way.
My life is inspired by being in, on or by the ocean.
